Rules & Regulations
Classes are 1 hour sessions. All classes begin & end on schedule. Students should be dropped off no more than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their class, in proper attire (defined below). Mardon Staff is not responsible for your child before or after their scheduled class period. Also, please do not be late in picking up your child after class. In the rare event that you will be late, please let us know and instruct your child to wait inside the studio until you arrive.
- Misbehavior will not be
tolerated. Proper behavior and courtesy must be
displayed to staff as well as students. Any fighting whatsoever will result in immediate expulsion from the studio. Parents are welcome to wait for their child, but must refrain from loud talking and any use of profanity. Mardon Dance Studio staff reserves the right to ask parents and/or students to leave the
premises should any of these policies be violated.
- Please refrain from allowing your child to attend class if he/she has ANY
contagious ailments. i.e. influenza, ringworm, head lice, bed bugs, MRSA, staff infections, etc.. This
policy is to protect every child as well as our staff. We appreciate your cooperation.
Proper Dance Attire
- Students will not be
permitted to participate in class without proper dance apparel and shoes. Clothing such as jeans, dress pants, school uniforms, dresses, sneakers or any type of street shoes are absolutely prohibited. Also, no large earrings or excessive jewelry will be allowed to be worn during class and hair must be tied back away from the face. If you have any questions regarding our dress code, any of our staff members would be more than happy to assist.
- The studio will be closed when
public & parochial schools are closed due to
inclement weather. In the event that schools are not closed, you will be notified if classes are canceled due to unsafe weather conditions.
- Any class missed due to
illness or personal reasons may be made up during any other class. There is no payment deduction or credit for missed classes. In order to receive credit for a missed class, students must be present for the entire make-up class period. |
